Md. Legal Chief Leads Cleanup On Baltimore Shore

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler is leading a cleanup effort along the shoreline of the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River in South Baltimore.

Gansler's office says a crew of about 80 volunteers from the attorney general's office and their friends and families will pull trash from the shoreline of Middle Branch Park on Saturday. They are also using canoes to scoop trash out of the water.

Gansler says the cleanup will help stop trash from flowing into the Chesapeake Bay.
