Baltimore Firefighters Rescue 3 Children From Burning Building
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore City firefighters rescued three children from a burning building.
According to officials, firefighters were called to the 800-block of W. Lexington Street Sunday for a fire and reports of people trapped inside.
When they arrived, they found the children, who are approximately seven, 11 and 16 years old. All three were rescued and transported to Shock Trauma. They are in serious condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. It's not known whether there were working smoke detectors in the house.
