Police Identify Pedestrian Fatally Hit By MARC Train

WHITE MARSH, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County Police have identified the victim of a fatal MARC train accident that occurred May 1 in White Marsh.

Robert Ey, 26, of Essex, was walking south on the tracks when, at about 7:15 a.m., he was struck by a southbound train traveling about 100 mph near Northeast Creek Road and Schaefer Lane.

Ey was pronounced dead about a half hour later.

A police investigation showed that this was an accident.
