Woman Attacked By Rottweiler In Montgomery Co.
OLNEY, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County officials say a woman has been attacked by a Rottweiler in Olney and will need extensive plastic surgery.
Police say a woman was walking the dog in the 2100-block Rose Theater Circle about 7 p.m. Monday when it lunged at the victim, biting her in the face. Montgomery County Animal Control says the victim will require extensive plastic surgery.
The dog has been quarantined to the owners' home for 10 days.
Police say the dog has no history of biting or attacking anyone.
