Baltimore Police Officer Charged With Misconduct & Perjury
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The Baltimore City State's Attorney's office has charged a Baltimore City police officer with one count of perjury and two counts of misconduct for giving false information to get a search warrant.
The Baltimore City Police Department began the investigation against Sergeant Dennis Workley and charges against him were brought by the State's Attorney's office.
Baltimore Police Deputy Commissioner Anthony Barksdale stressed that his department had initiated action.
"We will continue to aggressively investigate allegations of misconduct and corruption among our ranks and hold individuals accountable," he said.
