State Police Charge Baltimore Man For Possessing & Distributing Child Pornography

BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Maryland State Police have arrested and charged a Baltimore man for possessing and distributing child pornography.

A state trooper began the investigation in January when he came across a website offering child pornography videos for download. The trooper was able to trace the computer to Jason Barron.

On Thursday morning, troopers searched Barron’s residence and found several computers and storage devices with child pornography.

Barron, 21, has yet to appear before a court commissioner. If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison and/or $55,000 in fines.
