Metro To Change Rush Hour Service

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metrorail riders will soon see more trains during the morning and afternoon rush hours.

The changes will begin next month and will take effect between 6:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on weekdays.

Twenty-one of the system's busiest stations will see more trains during those hours. Only the Arlington National Cemetery station will see a decrease.

Metro says riders will need to pay extra attention to the destinations of their trains. Teams of employees will help direct
people when the changes are implemented.
