Police Seek Boater Missing In Chesapeake Bay
BETTERTON, Md. (AP) -- Authorities are continuing to search for a boater who went missing in the Chesapeake Bay after stopping for a swim.
Maryland Natural Resources police identified the man as Brandon Greene, 21, of Edgewood.
Four people were on board the 35-foot power boat Sunday afternoon, when they stopped about a half-mile west of Howell Point in Kent County.
Police say the man jumped off the boat feet first. But after he went under the surface, he did not reappear.
Natural Resources Police, the U.S. Coast Guard, Maryland State Police and fire department vessels are searching for the man by boat and by air.
