BALTIMORE (AP) — Maryland officials will be outlining the distribution of about $60 million in housing assistance from a mortgage servicing settlement.

Gov. Martin O’Malley and Attorney General Doug Gansler are scheduled to outline the first installment on Wednesday of nearly $1 billion that Maryland received in the settlement.

The announcement will take place in Baltimore at the HOPE Hotline Call Center that helps distressed homeowners get in touch with housing counselors.
