Frederick Mother Charged With Abuse In Infant's Death
FREDERICK, MD. (AP) -- A Frederick woman is charged with child abuse in the November death of her 3-month-old son.
The Frederick News-Post reports Elizabeth Tramonte, 21, was charged in an indictment unsealed Thursday. She's being held in the Frederick County jail with bail set at $50,000 bond.
Tramonte's attorney didn't immediately return a call from The Associated Press seeking comment.
She's charged with first-degree child abuse resulting in the death Blake Tramonte.
Prosecutors say an autopsy revealed injuries including broken ribs.
They say Tramonte was living with her boyfriend at the time of the boy's death.
