Jerry Coleman: Harbaugh & Pees On OTA's

The second week of the Ravens organized team activity has concluded and Head coach John Harbaugh, along with the teams' coordinators spoke to the media following the OTA's. Attendance among veterans this week was down. No Ray Lewis or Ed Reed of course, but Jimmy Smith and Jah Reid were also missing which is perplexing considering their youth.

Harbaugh is very pleased with how well the players are conditioning themselves. The Rookies are definitely improving as Harbaugh acknowledges , but he wants the players to chase perfection as he explains here :

New Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees, who was hired after the former defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano left to take a head coaching job with the Indianapolis Colts, was questioned about how he is different from Pagano or Rex Ryan or Greg Mattison. He responded that "everybody has their own personality and style". Pees, a former defensive coordinator of the Patriots, will have a hard time finding out who will fill the spot of the injured Terrell Suggs. He said even though you miss Suggs you have to tweak the "schemes" and "packages."
