Mark Zinno: Good Stuff Does Happen After 11 p.m.

It's the time of year that is so terribly underrated. And it's probably because Baltimore, which is an amazing city that I love, but it lacks professional basketball and hockey. But as the playoffs for both teams continue, there is so much action that I can't seem to get to sleep before midnight.

Watch the last five minutes of any game in the Heat-Celtics series. Watch the Spurs fight off the Thunder and win their 20th consecutive game. Watch ANY overtime, playoff hockey game ... in particular the Los Angeles Kings, who have yet to lost a road game this playoffs. There is so much excitement. So much pressure. It's what makes sports something that we live our lives by. For the record, the Kings are three wins from the Stanley Cup, which will probably make hell freeze over. And the Twitter universe goes nuts with every play at the end of these games. It's incredible to see.

When we are in a time without football, many in this city forget the phenomenal things that go on in the NBA and NHL.
