Sen. Cardin To Discuss College Affordability

LaPLATA, Md. (AP) -- Sen. Ben Cardin will be talking to students about the financial challenges they face to pay for college.

Cardin is scheduled to visit the College of Southern Maryland on Thursday in LaPlata.

The senator will hear how the college is preparing graduates for careers in health care and jobs in science and technology.

He also is scheduled to take a brief tour of training facilities.
