$1,400 In Copper Bath Valves Stolen In Annapolis
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say $1,400 worth of copper bath valves has been stolen from a construction site in Annapolis.
Police say they were called this week to the site near Obery Court and Clay Street, where a foreman reported that 10 bath tub valves had been taken. The Capital of Annapolis reports the foreman told police that the theft was discovered when plumbers arrived to install the valves.
He told police the valves were last seen about 5 p.m. Friday, when the gates leading to the site were locked for the weekend.
Police say the site is surrounded by a 6-foot-tall fence.
