BGE Working To Restore Power Following Severe Weather

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) announced Saturday that it has restored electric to approximately 26,000 customers who lost power as a result of severe thunderstorms Friday.

BGE expects to have the vast majority of power restored to its customers by Saturday night, though some outages could extend into Sunday in the most heavily damaged areas.

The areas that were hit hardest include Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford County and Howard County. While there is no need for customers to report an outage more than once, customers who experience new outages should report them by calling 1-877-778-2222.
