Steve Davis: Is Tiger Back?
People keep asking me if Tiger Woods is back. My answer-too early to tell.
He had a great performance. The shot on 16 holing out was amazing. However, he needs to win a major and compete consistently for me to be convinced Tiger will again be a dominant force. He was great, but truth be told, the other 3 contenders choked. I am glad to see he won, as golf is more interesting with him as a major factor.
Is he back though ? Not yet.
