BALTIMORE (AP) — Four civilian employees at Aberdeen Proving Ground have been indicted on charged of stealing aluminum and copper from the facility.

The indictments were returned Thursday against 52-year-old Timothy Bittner of Bel Air; 29-year-old Robert Reynolds, of Felton, Pa.; 33-year-old Steven Coale of North East, and 62-year-old Ronald Baker Sr. of Havre de Grace. They are charged with theft of government property.

According to the indictments, Bittner, Reynolds and Coale were employed as electricians at Aberdeen. They are accused of stealing copper and copper wire from government buildings while they worked.

Baker, who operated a patrol boat on the Chesapeake Bay to keep vessels away from waters near APG which were affected by weapons testing, is accused of stealing fabricated aluminum outriggers.
