3 Teams Of Law Enforcement Bloodhounds Graduating
SYKESVILLE, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland State Police says three bloodhounds are celebrating their graduation and will begin working for police in the state.
The dogs -- Red, Tallulah and Tayaut -- have finished training school. Red and Tallulah will remain with the state police and Tayaut will join the Prince George's County police department.
The dogs and their handlers are marking their graduation Wednesday morning at a ceremony at the state police training academy in Sykesville. They've completed a modified five-week training program.
The state police says there are 19 bloodhounds working throughout the state.
