Md. School Official Named Garrett Superintendent

OAKLAND, MD. (AP) — The Garrett County school board has chosen a school administrator from neighboring Allegany County to serve as superintendent.

The Cumberland Times-News reported Thursday  that Janet Wilson will take over July 1.

Wilson is currently chief academic officer for Allegany County Public Schools.

She succeeds Wendell Teets, who retired last summer.
