What a stretch of weather!
If you have been enjoying the current weather, you are going to like the rest of the weekend. We expect another day with sunshine, patchy clouds, low humidity and a high near 80 degrees. However, after Sunday, things start changing.
A storm draped over the middle of the country is moving our way. The warm front part of the storm will swing through on Monday. There will be clouds, spotty showers and maybe a thunderstorm. With the clouds around, it will also keep temperatures in the upper 70s. But when that warm front clears us on Tuesday, hello heat!
There is some really hot air from the Great Lakes down to the Gulf. Highs will jump to the 80s on Tuesday, then right into the 90s Wednesday and Thursday. There is the chance for a pop up shower or thunderstorm late each day in this air mass, with those chances increasing later in the week. A new cold front will bring more showers and thunderstorms Friday, and evening bringing a break to the heat.
