Harford Councilman's Son Killed In Car Accident

DARLINGTON, Md. (AP) -- The son of the Harford County Council president has been killed in car accident on the Darlington farm where he lived.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office says they were called to the farm in the 3700-block of Harmony Church Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident about 5 a.m. Monday and found the victim, 20-year-old Benjamin Boniface, dead at the scene.

Officials say deputies determined that Boniface was driving a 1994 Ford pickup truck along a private farm lane and lost control of the vehicle while trying to go around a curve. Police say the pickup truck hit a fence, and that parts of the fence went through the windshield and injured Boniface.

Boniface is the son of Harford County Council President William Boniface.
