Baltimore County Police Arrest, Charge Suspect In Parkville Fatal Shooting

PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ)-- Baltimore County police have made an arrest in the June 12 fatal shooting in Parkville.

Miguiel Anthony Bailey of Owings Mills was found shot dead inside his vehicle in Parkville. Linwood Tymais Smith has been charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery.

Baltimore County police responded to the unit block of Mopec Circle in Parkville on June 12 after they received a report of an unconscious person in a vehicle. Police found Bailey dead on arrival in the back seat of a Chevrolet Impala.

Police say that Smith shot Bailey during an attempted robbery. Smith was also shot in the cheek during the incident.

Police found Smith at Good Samaritan Hospital where he had gone to receive treatment for his injury.

Smith is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
