Sports writer Jason who covers the Ravens on CBS Sports.com thinks that the Ravens can still contend in 2012 even with the off-season issues of Suggs’ injury, Ray Rice’s contract and Ed Reed’s hold out.

He also said that Courtney Upshaw and Paul Kruger will will rotate and play in place of the defensive player of the year Terrell Suggs.

Lastly he touched on the absence on Ed Reed at the mandatory Mini Camps.  It is not a big issue unless he comes into training camp out of shape.
