Man Dies In Fiery Stolen Car Crash On I-295 Ramp
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police say a man was killed when the car he was driving flipped on a ramp from Interstate 295 and burst into flames.
The stolen Nissan Maxima was traveling south on I-295 early Wednesday when police say it struck a curb on the Westport exit and flipped onto the grass median. Police say the driver was thrown from the car and then trapped beneath it when it caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
The car was reported stolen Sunday in Baltimore. Police have not yet identified the driver.
