BALTIMORE (AP) — Three people in Maryland have died in the current heat wave.
The state health department says a man in Montgomery County, a man in Wicomico County, and a man in Baltimore have died. The Wicomico County man and Baltimore man were senior citizens.

High temperatures are expected to continue this week, and the health department is warning people to be careful because hot weather and humidity can cause heat stroke and heat exhaustion.
Deputy Secretary Fran Phillips says people who are in areas without power because of Friday’s storms need to take advantage of cooling centers.
