Teen Pleads Guilty In Md. Shooting

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A teenager has pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder in a 2011 shooting.

Dennis Marshall Jr., 17, entered the plea on Monday after jury selection and testimony in his trial.

Sentencing was deferred.

The Hagerstown Herald-Mail reports that Marshall was charged as an adult in the Oct. 17 shooting of Colin Wesley Williams.

Williams, 19, was shot while he walked with his girlfriend.

Marshall remained at large until December.
