Vinny Cerrato: What Do NFL Players Get Paid During Training Camp?

All players will receive room and board during preseason training camp. Housing is also provided between training camp and the Tuesday prior to their club’s first regular season game for the players who have not established residence in that city.

A first year player will receive “per diem” payments, starting with the first day of preseason training camp and ending one week prior to the clubs first regular season game at a weekly rate of 850 dollars.

A veteran player, one or more credited season, will receive “per diem” payment starting on the first day of preseason training camp and also ending one week prior to the clubs first regular season game at a weekly rate of 1,600.
The regular season pay will be 1/16 of their salary paid on each Monday of the regular season.
