Ngata Doesn't Care For Honor, Just Wants To Win

Ravens Defensive Tackle Haloti Ngata was voted the NFL's 9th best player on NFL.com's Top 100 Player's List of 2012.  Ngata told the Haynie and Zinno show afternoon that he's honored to be viewed so highly by the league's players, but that he doesn't care too much for the honor.

"I think it's definitely pretty cool that my peers voted me that high, and I'm definitely honored, but those rankings don't give us wins. So, us as Ravens, we're just trying to do what we can to get a super bowl ring."

Ngata admitted that he did not even watch this year's Super Bowl, because he, like many Ravens, felt like they should have been there; not the Patriots.  The 3-time pro-bowler said last season's loss in the AFC Championship Game was one a tough game to get past, but that everyone has moved on and is confident that the Ravens will be back in contention once again this upcoming season.

"Now I'm back and feeling good and I'm ready to go, and I cant wait for this training camp to start."

The Ravens training camp starts when quarterbacks, rookies, and injured players report on July 20th.
