Dozens Stranded In Heat After Metro Loses Power Near College Park Station

COLLEGE PARK, Md.  (WJZ)--Dozens of Metro passengers were stranded in the heat when their train lost power near College Park.

They waited in the sizzling conditions before learning their rescue train also lost power.

Finally everyone got off and walked on the tracks for about half a mile to the College Park station.

Despite the heat, no one was hurt.
