SALISBURY, Md. (AP) — Delmarva Power is warning residents that customers should prepare for unexpected power outages if severe weather strikes the area this weekend.

The utility says it is monitoring weather forecasts calling for more severe storms on Saturday and Sunday that could bring damaging winds, hail and lightning.

Delmarva Power says tree limbs are already weakened from last week’s storm and could cause further damage to electrical lines if there is additional wind and rain.
