BALTIMORE (WJZ)– An Indiana-based food distributor is recalling its corn chowder soup after two customers complained of finding pieces of a marker pen in the cans. No injuries or illnesses have been reported at this time.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that Morgan Foods, Inc. is recalling the America’s Choice Chicken Corn Chowder Chunky brand with the best- by date of March 1, 2014. This particular brand was distributed to retail stores in Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Other brands of the product sold in other states have also been recalled.
