Orioles manager Buck Showalter joined The Norris & Davis Show after a ‘fast sleep night’ for the team. The Orioles were 2-1 winners in Minnesota last night. They take on the Twins again today in a matinee game. The 2nd half of the season is underway: ‘The challenge ahead of the us is 20 games-in-a-row with no off-days,’ noted Mr. Showalter. He also chimed in on the play of Mark Reynolds, Jim Thome & Jim Johnson.
Also now that the finish line of the season is in sight, Buck was asked if the buyers? ‘I’m trying to keep our 25 guys in line. The last thing a player needs to here is a manager pontificating about another team’s players…It’s not healthy.’
