1 Dead, 2 Badly Hurt By Allegedly Drunk Md. Driver

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A Pennsylvania man faces charges of negligent manslaughter and drunk driving in a crash near Hagerstown that killed one person and left two others badly hurt.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says Stephen Bonafede, 26, of Mountville, Pa., was driving a car that crossed the center line and hit another vehicle on Eastern Boulevard near Security Road late Monday night.

Deputies say a male passenger in that vehicle died. They say the driver and a young child were flown from Hagerstown to other facilities for treatment.
