Movie Theater Donating To Colo. Shooting Victims
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- An independent movie theater in Hagerstown says it will make a donation to help the victims of the deadly movie theater shooting in Colorado where 12 people died.
he Herald-Mail of Hagerstown, Md. reports that Leitersburg Cinemas, a 10-screen theater, will donate $1 of every movie ticket sold on Saturday and Sunday. In addition, the theater plans an additional dollar-for-dollar matching donation of the total ticket sales over the two days.
The theater's donation will be made to the Colorado-based Community First Foundation.
