Jeremy Conn: AFC Thoughts
Hard to believe that we are only one week away from the beginning of the Ravens season. They will have their first preseason game on the road, in Atlanta.
I believe this is going to be one of the craziest years in the AFC. The NFL has been saying they want parity in the league, and I believe they have it in the AFC. I think any of the teams in the West could win the division and as many as 2 could get into the postseason. In the AFC East, everyone likes the Patriots, but could the Jets revert back to the team from 2 years ago and the Bills seem to be everyone's "sexy" pick. Three teams made it from the AFC North last year and I don't believe anyone would be shocked to see that happen again. The only division where a team is going to run away with it is the South. I don't see any team contending with the Texans in that division.
My early picks are the Patriots, Ravens, Texans, and Broncos to win the division. My wildcards are the Chargers and Bengals.
