Woman, 80, Dies In House Fire In Reisterstown

REISTERSTOWN, Md. (WJZ/AP) -- Authorities say an 80-year-old woman was killed in a house fire in Reisterstown.

The woman, identified as Carolyn Conrad, was found dead by firefighters in a bedroom where the fire was located.

Baltimore County fire officials say the blaze started around 4 p.m. Saturday in the 400-block of Main Street. It was placed under control in less than 15 minutes.

Smoke detectors were operational in the home.

The cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
