Prince George's Co. Police, State Officials To Tout Traffic Safety
BELTSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police Chief Mark Magaw is joining state officials to discuss several traffic safety initiatives in the county.
Magaw is scheduled to appear at a news conference Thursday alongside John Kuo, administrator of the state Motor Vehicle Administration, and Tom Gianni, director of the Maryland Highway Safety Office. Several other police officials are also scheduled to attend.
The officials will be discussing several traffic safety efforts, such as Operation Roadrunner, Operation SOLO, Safe Walk and DUI enforcement.
The news conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Beltsville Commerce Center.
