Ed Norris: O's MVP And Unsung Hero
The best part of making these choices this year was the fact that there were actually Orioles worthy of the honors. My MVP is Adam Jones just edging Matt Wieters. While Matt has done a great job handling the staff his hitting has been a little light. Jones is batting .298 with 24 homers and plenty of clutch and game winning hits.
My unsung hero goes to Pedro Strop. I'd give the award to the entire bull pen if I could but since this is an individual award I'm voting for Pedro with his 1.22 ERA and off center cap. He's done an outstanding job and while Johnson gets most of the attention ( deservedly ) Strop has carried a huge load for this team.
