Jeremy Conn: NFL Injury Bug

When the preseason starts every Head Coach and everybody in the front office hopes to get to week 1 of the regular season without any significant injuries. The injury bug has already started nibbling at a few teams in the league.

The Baltimore Ravens were worried about the loss of Suggs, but now you have both of your starting tight ends banged up. The Pittsburgh Steelers are worried about Isaac Redman and James Harrison; both are banged up and may miss some time as well. The Denver Broncos lost 2 starters this week one on the offensive line and one on the defensive line. The Bengals lost a few players on consecutive plays in their preseason game against the Jets. The Dallas Cowboys are concerned about pro bowl tight end Jason Witten as he will miss the rest of the preseason with a spleen injury.
