Maryland Has Second Confirmed Case Of West Nile Virus

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Maryland has another case of West Nile Virus.

This is the second case of the mosquito-borne illness in the state. The first was reported last week.

The virus is expected to be highly active across the U.S. this year.

Ten deaths have been linked to West Nile in Dallas County, Texas. The county is using planes to spray insecticide to fight the virus.
