ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland’s secretary of state has certified ballot language for seven statewide questions voters will decide in November.

Secretary of State John McDonough on Monday certified language for three constitutional amendments, three referendum petitions and a referendum on the expansion of gambling.

Voters will decide whether to allow same-sex marriage and in-state tuition for illegal immigrants under certain circumstances in two of the referendums. The other referendum asks voters whether they approve of the state’s congressional redistricting map.

Voters will also decide whether to amend the state’s constitution to remove a public official from office upon a finding of guilt of a felony or misdemeanors related to the official’s public duties, instead of upon sentencing.

The other two relate to qualifications for orphans’ court judges in Prince George’s and Baltimore counties.
