SALISBURY, Md. (AP) — A new uniform plan is being implemented at nine elementary schools in Wicomico County for the upcoming academic year.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that the “Consistent Attire Program” will be piloted at Beaver Run, Chipman, Delmar, North Salisbury, Pemberton, Pinehurst, Prince Street, West Salisbury elementary schools and the Wicomico Early Learning Center.

Students will be allowed to wear polo shirts, oxfords and turtlenecks for tops and khakis, capris, skorts and jumpers for bottoms.

The school system is also introducing new classes at some schools, including online courses in advanced placement French, physics, 9th grade world history and statistics and probabilities.
