Pennsylvania Man Wanted For Murder Charged With Second-Degree Rape & Sex Assault In Md.

BALTIMORE (WJZ)– The district court of Maryland has charged a 28-year-old Pennsylvania man wanted for murder with second-degree rape and second-degree sex assault.

According to court documents, John Joseph Gonce was the victim’s second cousin and had been living at her family’s home on Hemison Court in Pikesville since July 28. Documents reveal that Gonce sexually assaulted the girl in her house on three occasions between July 31 and Aug. 6.

Gonce admitted to the incidents to detectives but told them that they were consensual.

WJZ‘s media partner, The Baltimore Sun, reports that Gonce was charged with the murder of two boys in July during a drug deal. He also faces charges in connection with a home invasion in Upper Darby, a suburb of Philadelphia.

The Sun also reports that he will be taken to Pennsylvania to face the murder charges but is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail.
