As Election Day Draws Closer, Conference Held To Attract Voters

BALTIMORE (AP) — Maryland officials are holding a conference to inform voters about their rights and options in November.

Rep. Elijah Cummings is hosting the event Wednesday in Baltimore. Attorney General Doug Gansler is scheduled to attend.

NAACP Training Director Jessica Pierce, League of Women Voters of Baltimore City President Lois Hybl and Baltimore City Board of Elections Election Director Armstead Jones also are scheduled to participate.
