Search Suspended For Missing Boater

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Coast Guard has suspended a search for a missing 52-year-old boater.

Coast Guard officials were called Tuesday for a report of three people in the water. According to officials, the man jumped in when he saw two swimmers who were separated from their boat. Those two swimmers were rescued.

The Coast Guard searched 26 square miles for 17 hours.

His name has not been released.
