EDGEWATER, Md. (WJZ) — Anne Arundel County officers say they’ve arrested a man who took a woman’s keys from a casino, and then used the keys to steal her vehicle and burglarize her home.

The victim called police just after 6 p.m. Wednesday when she realized her vehicle was missing. She had lost her car and house keys inside the Maryland Live! Casino.

Police received information that the stolen car was at the victim’s home in Edgewater. According to officers, they saw Daniel Lee Miller, 50, carrying property from the home when they arrived.

The officer ordered him to stop, but he didn’t comply. Police say Miller tried to flee before the officer Tased him and took him into custody.

Police returned the car and the stolen property from the home to the victim.
