BOONSBORO, Md. (AP) — A West Virginia man is dead after a crash on I-70 in western Maryland.
Troopers from the Maryland State Police were called to the crash scene early Saturday morning. Investigators say Jorge Alberto Silva-Alvarez, 45, of Martinsburg, W.Va., was killed when his SUV crossed the center median and overturned several times. It landed in the fast lane of eastbound I-70.
No one else was injured in the crash. Authorities say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
