CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WJZ)–Many Marylander’s eyes were on Charlotte on Tuesday night as Governor Martin O’Malley took the stage at the Democratic National Convention.

Gov. O’Malley’s speech captivated Democrats with his enthusiasm.

“The future we seek is not a future of less opportunity. It is a future of more opportunity. More opportunity for all Americans,” O’Malley said.

He also had harsh words for Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

“Governor Romney, just because you bank against the United States of America doesn’t mean the rest of us are willing to sell her out,” O’Malley said.
