New Art Space Opens In Downtown Frederick

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — A new venue for Frederick’s artistic community has opened in the downtown historic district.

The Frederick News-Post reports the 1,600-square-foot space at 31 East Patrick Street can be rented hourly, daily or weekly as a studio, gallery, film set or meeting space. It has a green room, kitchenette and post-production suite.

The site also offers video and photography equipment for rent.

A grand opening for the space called, Area 31, was held Saturday.
