Columbia Man Gets New Trial In Fatal Shooting

COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) -- A Columbia man convicted of first-degree murder for a shooting four years ago is getting a new trial.

The Baltimore Sun reported Tuesday that Maryland's highest court has ruled that the jury in Antajuan Wilson's trial received insufficient instructions.

Wilson was sentenced to life in prison for shooting Bryan Adams Jr. outside of the Wilde Lake Village Center in April 2008.

Wilson had a pre-trial hearing last week in Howard County Circuit Court. His new trial is set to begin in January.
